Summary

Action research is a participatory methodology in which action (intervention to solve a real problem) and research (understanding and studying that action) occur simultaneously. It is a continuous and cyclical process widely used in the fields of education, health, social sciences, and management. Most of the research activities I am involved in are motivated by social problems and supported by institutions and partners invested in them.
